Never Gone
If one day I am no longer here,
Don't scream, nor cry, nor shed a tear.
Just look to the sky without any fear,
And realize that I'll always be there.
Where are you?
You told me you would never leave,
But where are you? You cannot be seen.
I look and look but find no signs,
How do I know you're by my side? Not a print nor hair is anywhere here,
What happened to your promise? "I'll always be there."
On May 15, 2014 I received an email from one of my moms favorite places of work, Alpine Bank. My mom loved banking and was always talking about her pervious banking jobs. After all it was her dream job since she was little. So naturally I would want to experience one of her favorite things. This is the email I got after filling out an application. Sure it may look pointless to you, but this was a big step in my future.
Friends and Family
"One guarantee is Angie would always call or text and let you know she cared and remembered." - Jennifer P
"When we were all lost for words Angie knew just what to say, and when things got tense among the family Angie provided a much needed buffer." - Rebekha G. "She always had this same beautiful smile on her face, she was always such a happy person and was so loving and caring to everyone." - Tamara H. "She was a wonderful wife and mother. My best friend and I will never stop loving her." - Mike C. "Angie was one of the best cousins anyone could have." - Rene A. |
"One of the words that alway comes to mind when I think of Angie is kind. Kind in so many ways, but especially in just how she lived. When you talked to her, she didn't just listen, she sincerely cared and gave her undivided attention. Every time I see a picture of her, I'm reminded of her kindness just by looking at her eyes. There was a light there and it was beautiful and authentic. Plus, she was fiercely loyal to her friends and family and would do anything to help in any way she could! I miss her like crazy and can still hear her laugh when I think back on all the silly things we used to do. Truly beautiful people are a rare find, and she was certainly at the top of that category!" - Stephanie J.

I Promise
If heaven exists I promise you'll be there,
You'll laugh, you'll smile, you'll forget about here.
No pain, no tears, no one to please,
I can't imagine what all you'll see.
