Facebook Sales!
I started a thing on Facebook where I sell items to make money off of it. I started with only making only $20 a day to making over $300. On October 22nd I was asked to help sell someone sell her items and get 50% of the profit. And thats when my business started..
Nicole's Consignment, the business I started from Facebook. So far, it has been going pretty good. I've made some profit as well as set up an office, as seen to the left. Ive changed the profit to where I only take 20% instead of 50%, making it a better deal for everyone. Eventually I decided on opening a shop and also get into refurbishing. When that happens I will most likely change the name of my business due to difference in items. I've made a pretty good profit off of this small business and I plan on continuing it into the future.
If you're interested check out Nicole's Consignment on Facebook. It try to post new items daily.
Jobs
Farmers Country Market
In June 2013, I started my first official job at a grocery store known as Farmers Country Market. There my job was to bag peoples groceries and bring them out to their vehicles. At this job I learned the importance of costumer service and gained the work ethic I still follow today. |
Hotel Colorado
In November 2014, I started working as a busier/hostess at the historic Hotel Colorado. Hotel Colorado is a gorgeous hotel that has been there since 1893. Being a temporary home to residents such as Teddy Roosevelt and Al Capone. Although there are multiple of areas of the hotel, my work takes place in the small restaurant known as Barron's. My responsibility at Barron's is to seat the guests, get them drinks, and clean up the mess when they leave. This job has taught me the skill of doing things that I don't like in order to make a income. |
Dancing Bear Trading Post/ General Store
I started work at the Dancing Bear Trading Post in April 2015 as a merchandiser/stocker. A few weeks after starting work there I got moved to the second store known as the Dancing Bear General Store. Over at that store my job changed from working in the back room pricing and stocking to running an entire store by myself from open to close. This helped me improve my responsibility and independence skills. |
